Claire O'Connor is an accomplished globe-trotting voice talent and pioneering entrepreneur. Originally from Los Angeles, her early career took her to Tokyo where she voiced multiple characters for a video game series which evolved into years-long projects across global entertainment markets.

As a versatile performer, Claire identified ways to increase the efficiency of global casting and booking. In the mid-1990s, she founded Tokyo’s first online voice talent agency. Managing the cross-cultural dynamics of international talent inspired her to pursue an education in behavioral science.

Today, Claire holds a Doctorate in Organizational Psychology, alongside advanced graduate degrees in Education, Health Sciences, Dispute Resolution and Business.

This understanding of human behavior and other disciplines informs her voice work, enabling her to deliver intuitive, text-accurate interpretations for complex corporate narration, video games, anime & movie dubbing, documentaries, industrials, educational narration, audio books & commercials.

You may have heard her on projects including UNESCO, JICA, UNICEF, Panasonic, Nissan, Fuji Television, NHK, Educational Testing Service, Voice of America, Iron Chef Japan, Japan Airlines, All Nippon Airlines, Japan Tourism Bureau promotions, and a host of video games like the Resident Evil series.

These days, she divides her time between Europe and Asia. She is currently authoring a series of print and audio books while accepting select global voice over bookings both on-site and via remote partner studios.
